Heating and Cooling Equipment

Purchasing a new heating & cooling system is similar to buying a car . . .

...with one significant difference. If you purchase a car and then decide at some point it really isn’t what you want, you can usually sell or trade it in on something more to your liking and receive at least a portion of your original investment back. However, there is no market for used heating and air conditioning systems. Once the equipment is installed, it is there to stay until you (1) sell your home and move out or (2) decide to replace it.

At Greens Heating & Air Conditioning, it is our goal to make sure that the heating & cooling system we install in your home is the one you will want to live with for many, many years. That’s why at Greens Heating we call it a “Comfort System”.

When you meet with a Comfort Consultant from Greens Heating, they will show you all the comfort options available. Ask as many questions as you would like. We understand that your complete comfort goes beyond just heating and cooling.

Greens Heating not only offers high-quality Trane products, but we also qualify for special recognition as a Trane Comfort Specialist, which means that we meet very stringent standards in every aspect of business, including installation, service, customer satisfaction, and employee training.

Can green and comfort get along?

The answer is a resounding "Yes"

Air Conditioning Unit

For the top of the line in cool comfort, look no further than the Trane line of air conditioners. All air conditioners have a SEER rating. What is that? It is the equivalent of miles per gallon in your car. It stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio and is the indicator of the efficiency rating of your unit. The higher the number of the SEER rating, the higher the efficiency. Legal minimum efficiency now allowable on new units is 13 SEER. The Trane XL20i, with two compressors, is among the industry’s most efficient air conditioner available, with a rating of up to 20.00 SEER.

Small Air Conditioning Unit

A heat pump works as both a heater and an air conditioner. Many people are now enjoying the benefits of a “hybrid system”, which takes advantage of two energy sources and gives you the flexibility of switching back and forth to whichever source is the most efficient for your comfort.

Small Furnace

You depend on your furnace to take care of your home and family’s heating needs. Every furnace comes with an AFUE rating—Annual Fuel Efficiency Ratio. The Trane XV95 furnace with variable speed motor has an AFUE rating of up to 96.7%--among the highest in the industry. This rating basically means that up to 95% of the fuel you pay for is actually converted into heat for your home.
